When it comes to makeup, I’m a minimalist most of the time. My skin is usually fairly clear, but when have some pimps I still use this routine (with some extra concealer)! I like to look fresh and glowy and awake in a natural way. Here are all the products I’ve fallen in love with for creating my everyday makeup routine!
I put this shit all over my face, I am so in love with it. The color is spot on for any skin tone and the formula melts amazingly into my skin. I like to pat it onto my cheekbones, down my nose, cupid’s bow, and a little on my chin. Usually, I’ll put a little extra on the highest point of my cheekbone to make my cheeks pop. This liquid/cream blush is essential to making yourself look alive. Beam is the color I use every single time and it’s a true coral color. I feel that coral translates best onto my skin tone and looks like I just spent the most relaxing day in the sun. If coral isn’t your jam, they also have nude, light pink, and deep berry! Another huge win for Glossier. This concealer is creamy and light – not everyone’s cup of tea for concealer – but I do like to keep it simple. I would say that if you have oily skin I wouldn’t use this or would use a setting powder as it is so creamy and shiny that it tends to slip around if not set properly. I put this concealer on the sides of my nose, on my forehead a bit and down my nose, my cupid’s bow, my chin, and under my eyes. And I do this all before the High Beam concealer! Photo: glossier.com.
It’s mascara, pretty self-explanatory. This has been a favorite of mine for a few years now and I still can’t get enough. I have decently short lashes that can be curled into oblivion to look big, and this mascara helps out a lot. The bristles are small and even and really get in between your lashes to make them longer and thicker. Photo: sephora.com.
Last but definitely not least! This lip color is a moisturizing balm with sheer, healthy-looking color. I use a red color to make me look a little more done up, without actually trying. The crisp apple color looks like your lips were stained red from wearing a red lipstick last night and then you put a balm on the stained red. Cannot recommend enough! Photo: revlon.com.
